This article is a guide on how to restart the print spooler service. This action can be performed to resolve printing errors in general or for Apex printing errors.
Features/Steps
Open Windows printer settings
1. Type "Printers" in the Windows search bar
2. Open "Printers & scanners" settings

3. Click on the affected printer.
4. Click on "Open print queue."
5. Click on the "..." in the top right
6. Click "Cancel all," you may need to click "Cancel all" multiple times to get the print jobs to clear.
7. Type "Services" in the Windows search bar
8. Open "Services"
9. Enter your admin credentials
10. Find and right click the "Print Spooler" service.
11. Click "Restart"
Test if the user is able to print a test page from Windows. If this issue is Apex related, print a test ticket to see if the issue is resolved.
